MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Dec. 19, 2014) - NovX21 Inc. ("NovX21" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:NOV) is pleased to confirm that it is in discussions with the Québec government to finance the construction of a commercial extraction plant for platinum-group precious metals in Thetford Mines.
Funding for the project was requested under the new "Créativité Quebec" financial aid program, which will see the Quebec government assume a greater partnership role in innovative projects that strengthen and diversify Quebec's economy. The Créativité Quebec program provides funding to enable businesses to acquire new technologies or develop or improve products and processes.
NovX21 operates an industrial prototype plant for the recovery of Platinum Group Metals (platinum, palladium and rhodium, or PGMs). The plant is located near Quebec City in St-Augustin-de-Desmaures. Its patented dry chlorination process yields more than 97% PGM recovery, and is fast, clean, low-cost and energy-efficient. NovX21's mission is to recover precious metals sustainably by recycling end-of-life PGM containing components while meeting global "green" standards for the automobile industry.
