NovX21’s innovative PGM extraction technology is coming at the right time

The industry is ripe for the innovative technology of NovX21, a perfect match for large recyclers, automotive industry companies and refiners.

NovX21’s first commercial plant, being brought on-line by a team of Quebec scientists and managers who think globally, will process material from large recyclers of catalytic convertors and e-waste.

An independent research group is calling for the PGM recycling industry to be worth $9 billion by 2018, with the European and North American markets leading the way and Japan and emerging countries preparing for very fast-growing new automobile production in Asia Pacific. Globally, there should be close to 100 million new cars being produced by 2017.

A snapshot of NovX21:

  • Supply arrangements are in progress to feed the first commercial plant in Quebec and could come from collectors and recyclers of large quantities of catalytic converters as well as electronic waste;
  • The first commercial plant, being brought on-line by a team of Quebec scientists and managers who think globally, will boost NovX21’s growth and create direct and indirect jobs for the province.
