The plant, with a proposed 500,000-convertor capacity, will be built in an industrial park in the Thetford Mines area. It will house 10 dry chlorinators, each capable of processing 50,000 catalytic convertors. No scaling of the process, the equipment or the Company’s patented technology is required. The chlorinator’s robustness has been proven since 2012 at the demonstration plant in St-Augustin, as have all the equipment operating sequences for the entire ground catalytic converter processing circuit.
